    RAW should just be an available setting with the other image quality selections. Do you have the raw codec installed on your computer?

    On your canon there is a selection in the menu that will say what format to shoot and quality. Also your Canon should have the Codec on the disc or I think it is in Photoshop Elements. Not totally positive on that. Kind of a setup and forget it thing.

    No idea, so I assume not. How would I find it?

    Alright, I'll look for the raw setting here in a bit. How would I look for the raw Codex in Photoshop Elements?
    I collect PEs, and I'm always looking to trade for ones I don't have yet.
