I would also like to thank Jim and CR for putting together all the contests and giveaways that we have on a continuous basis! Also a huge thanks goes out to Premium Aquatics and Bashea for their prize donations to the Captive Reefs Fantasy Football League and Captive Reefs Tank of the Year contests!

jim like i mentioned in the past, the school your club provides for, see if they can rent or just let you use their cafeteria for a swap. most already have tables and chairs so that shouldnt be an issue unless they are round tables. it is nice and huge and open area so it will be an easy layout. since it is at the school with the tank your club provides for people can choose to donate some pieces right to the school tank while they are there and also have a chance to see the tank and what some of the proceeds have been going to. the only downside would be the lack of beer sales but i am sure food could still be served.

I would like to say thanks to every one that put this swap together. It was the best of all that I have been to in the last 5 years and hope to see many more.

This was by far the best swap we have had in Lansing. We had more tables, more vendors and more people than previous year's events. While the table tanks may not have been filled to the brim with coral frags, the quality of the corals offered was much higher that in the past at even better prices.

As Mid-Michigan Marine Club President, I would like to recognize the the following people that helped prepare the swap hall, worked during the swap and help clean up afterward. This is always a tremendous effort on everyone's part to make this successful event happen: MMMC members, MMMC Board members, and Captive Reef members.

A special Thank You! for those that supported the swap through their tables and especially everyone that came to the swap to buy, trade, and talk with other fellow reefers.

I picked up a few sweet corals at the swap and will start a new thread for everyone to show what they got from the swap.
