Nice
That's a good amount
20 gallon zoanthid reef
12 Gallon Reef
10 gallon FW tank- 3 zebra danios, 2 platys, and 5 mystery snails
That's a very generous amount. That's not the typical amount that everyone is able to send when doing trades. Those are very beautiful though. Nice trading!
Have a Wonderful Day on the Reef!

Dang I am to late. I wish I would have seen this earlier I would have loved to get in on this trade.
It should re-occur some time this fall... we'll post when it's time.
There's nowhere else I'ld rather be... unless, of course, you're buying![]()
Repto did you get what I sent you ok?I think a couple of yours are gonna make it !
:D They are really small but if they do ok I can move them to a place they can spread out. :D
Let me know if you got them ok!

Do not meddle in the affairs of Dragons for you are crunchy and good with ketchup!!!!![]()
Yes ma'am... everything that has come in has done well. Some just took some time ton adjust. I got a trade from angel last year with no water(leaked out) lost some woods polyps, but the zoanthids are still alive and kickin'.

How did all the trading come out for everyone or are guys still working at it?
I had one complete melt down, one excellent trade, one with a minor set back but on the way to recovery and one still in the works.
I would like a try to get a rough idea if the overall event was a success or a failure. Also if anyone has any tips or suggestions that made a big difference. The one I received with heat packs from Angie were in awesome shape.
If the event was a general success, I would like to hold one again the fall. If the event was a general failure maybe we should look at changing it or scraping it.
Successful!!! Of course, there will be set-backs. #1 leave about 1/3 to 1/2 without water for more atmospheric o2 #2 Plumber's tape on threads of thermos to help prevent leaking.

I just wanted to mention that the use of heat packs greatly improves the condition of the frags when shipped. The ones I received that didn't fare too well were the ones that didn't have heat packs.
Please make sure you use them.....Especially when shipping to cooler areas. It's not much fun getting frags that don't make it when a .25 heat pack would have solved the problem. Especially when you do everything possible to make sure you yourself use them and do everything possible to ensure the survival of the coral. If you can't find them, ask around on the board. A few of us have a stockpile of them just for shipping corals. Another hint, lol. Walmart puts them on clearance every spring. Buy them at the clearance price and you will save lots of $$ and you will always have them on hand when you need them.
Glad to hear it. I use packing tape to seal the lid/cup on to the thermos.Successful!!!
