    Hey Rick,
Are they in direct light? Indirect? Flow?

My understanding is they like low-med light and med-strong flow.

they are about 3/4 of the way down in the tank with 96 watt t5 fixture..flow is just aquaclea HOB filter with MJ600 modded powerhead..i do not know what is going on here but i would like to not lose these guys..the 1 polyp that did open up had the darkest blue i have ever seen.. I dont really want to move them around as i think that would stress them more..but yeah they are down pretty low in the tank on a frag rack..where i got them from they were under metal halides and mine are t5s..not sure that would make a difference or not.

I can't tell from pics(old eyes) inspect with a magnifying glass to be sure there are no predators. Are there white specks/blotches on the polyps? Did you dip them when you got them?

The melting away leads me to believe it could be zoa pox( http://www.zoaid.com/articles004.php ).

Check that link to compare, I couldn't find pics on site, and if that looks like what you have follow protocols listed or similar. Furan-2 seems to be the only thing to help. I wouldn't waste any time starting treatment( I have lost entire colonies within 2-3 days

    good luck.......chuck
