    According to Ray @ Trop. No.
    I would personally agree. Bc they are torn apart vs. a clean cut.
    After have experimented w/ many crazy different ways of cutting mushrooms but the only consistant technique always includes some portion of the mouth. Some mushrooms like the super bright red will usually die if cut @ all (again IME)
