DIY Not Your Normal Sump... HELP!

    in order to have a sump do you have to drill the tank in order to get 30xflow

    Hummer,
    You can get an overflow box made up that should take care of your flow issues...drilling is just another method.

    I got this awsome overflow idea using only PVC and it skims and everything, when I get to my girlfriends house (were using it in her nano cause I did not want a box) i'll take some pics.
    55 Gallon. One year old, and looking SUPER.

    i know what u gong do we use the same set up on the wast water at my work a pvc with a slit in it (big slit almost1/2 to3/4 of a inch ) am i right then drill hole in back of the tank down to to sump....
