Just found this thread and I love the idea to use those lights. I have seen them too and wondered if they would grow coral. Even if you don't do the contest this will be pretty cool to see if they work. Will it be easy to put more blue in that fixture? Is it easy like changing other lights? Nice rock scape you finally landed on. I think I changed my rocks around about 10 or more times till I got them just so!

yeah i got the blues in there..tank looks great..it lights the tank just not bright as a pc or t-5 lighting would do, but so far the corals seem to love it..they are open and their colors are amazing.. I will post a pic after sunday when i get my final corals in there.. thanks for the compliment..
well i lost my heater in the pico this morning or last night..not sure when but the corals were not happy so corals got moved this morning until i have the funds to get another one..not working for a couple weeks really puts a strain on the wallet..hopefully soon it will be back up and running again.
and on a good note..thanks to chort ( thanks Chris ) i will be adding zoas back into this tank after the swap, so be sure to stay tuned in..think your gonna like this one..
Your worse then me when it comes to rearranging the furniture It sure doesn't look like a 2.2g tank. I really love this little tank
