Default Skunk cleaner shrimp molted again!!!

Got up to check on the tank and noticed what I at first thought was my skunk cleaner shrimp being consumed by a maxi mini. Upon closer inspection it turned out to be only a molt. Which now has me concerned as this is twice in two weeks he's molted. Normal or not? He eats very very well

I would say that it is not normal.

What have you changed? Are you dosing any trace elements?

I've changed nothing, dosing nothing. Tanks been exactly the same since I've gotten the shrimp. 5 1/2g WC bi-weekly, No2=.0-No3=.0-Ca=440-Alk=8.4-Mag=1360-Sg=1.025

Could it be from him eating so much?

If he's continuing to eat and is healthy, i wouldn't worry too much about it. I see molts all the time in my tank...I'm amazed at how quickly they grow!

No minerals. He gets frozen Hikari brine shrimp/Mysis Shrimp, Rods Complete and Nutramar Ova. Once a month I'll soak any 1 of the above in a little Selcon.

Just checked in on my tank. Usual lights out thing. And again there is the molt from the Shrimp. WTH!?
Could it be that it's getting caught up in the Maxi Mini and leaving its shell to escape? Part of the shell is in the nem, another part very close by.
